Last Saturday I was in New Orleans where Senator John Edwards worked with Habitat to help rebuild New Orleans. (Videos available soon.) Then he went to the AdEgg building where he worked to help save the earth. It was National Day of climate change and the crowd gave him thunderous applause throughout his speech. They were avidly pro-Edwards and they showed it proudly.
After his rousing speech, he marched with the crowd to the beat of a New Orleans Jazz band and we marched on the Super Dome. There, choppers flew overhead as the supporters formed words regarding saving the environment which were photographed from the air. It was an amazing turnout and the people of New Orleans are very much aware that they more than most are effected by this drastic climate change.
