Last week I met Danny Glover in Rock Hill, SC for the second time. He, like John Edwards, is a very personable and approachable guy. So, after we toured 'A Place for Hope' I asked for and received permission from Danny to do a video of him endorsing John Edwards for President. Wow! My 'career' as a reporter is non-existent and as a Citizen Journalist is somewhat small. But, this will remain one of the highlights for a very long time and I wanted to share it with you.
A place for Hope is an area on Blackmon Road in Rock Hill where extreme poverty is prevalent everywhere. There are no water lines going into the area and no sewer lines. Until only a couple of months ago their sewer system was a bucket. Now they have two porta johns on the street.
Hope is an elderly black woman who lives in the area and she doesn't have a lot financially but is known for her willingness to help anyone whenever she can. I will have a video as soon as I can get it up on that area. I have recently done the SC events, New Orleans and New Hampshire so I am running a little behind in getting the videos up but will have them up soon.
Hope you enjoy Danny's endorsement. He is such a sincere person.
